Mindfulness is paying attention , in the present moment with curiosity, openness and a warm accepting attitude.
In each Mindfulness session we will explore something new about mindfulness –engaging in mindfulness meditations such as paying attention to the breath or sounds. We will also explore how we can be more aware in everyday life. The benefits include:
• Reducing stress and increasing wellbeing;
• Choosing to focus and get more out of the present moment, whilst reducing the focus on the past or future;
• Choosing how we respond to situations rather than reacting.
