Nature Health Walks

Walking, like other forms of exercise, is a great way to get and feel healthy.

Enjoy the outdoors and fresh air and join us on our Nature Walks as we take in the beautiful scenery across the borough. Walks include Hollingworth Lake & Country Park, Castleton Canal, Greenbooth Reservoir, Healey Dell and Queens Park.

A brisk walk is great for building stamina and burning calories too. Walking has been shown to have great effects on mental health too. Even a short walk can increase mental alertness and improve mood.
