Rochdale Foodbank

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

We are a well run and organised unit, we have a great set of volunteers who work hard and have fun too – we couldn’t do it without them, or without the great generosity of the people of Rochdale who help us in so many ways.

We might be the only person a client speaks to in a day – they may need encouragement or just a listening ear, or just to know that someone cares about them.
