After Matters aim to provide inclusion, support and sources of help for young (16-25) brain injury survivors and their families in the Greater Manchester area.

After a brain injury, it’s once you get back home from hospital that is where you realise the journey to recovery is only just beginning. Many brain injury survivors feel abandoned once they leave hospital and they just don’t know where to turn to for help.

After Matters is here to help and support you if you have been impacted by brain injury, or if you are caring for a loved one with a brain injury. It can be overwhelming and you may feel like nobody understands, and you don’t know what to do. But you don’t have to fight this battle alone. There are millions of people that have experienced brain injury and understand what you are going through.
