YJS Mentoring

The aim of the mentoring project is to recruit and train volunteer mentors from the local community to work with young people who are at risk of criminality and anti-social behaviour.
The projects offers 1:1 support with our experienced team and access to youth groups, residentials and trips in the holidays.

Mentors offer advice and guidance to these young people to positively influence their lives and help them to take control and change their future. Mentors will take young people out into the community once a week to help with social skills, mental health and life skills.
