RCT - Happier Children Programme

Our happier children's programme offers young people aged 5 -18 who have been affected by domestic abuse with a safe space to reflect. Be in the moment and build on skills to grow positive self-development supporting the key effects young people face from the impact of domestic abuse.

We offer a weekly session that lasts up to 1 hour for a period of 12 weeks, providing a person-centred approach by tailoring each person’s programme from a library of creative therapeutic based play activities. Sessions can be extended depending on need, young people are reviewed 6 weekly.

These drugs change your mood by affecting the balance of chemicals in your body but do not help you to deal with underlying problems. Counselling is a form of psychological or talking therapy that offers people a chance to change how they feel and to live better.
