Change4theFuture

The aim of this project is to identify young people aged 13–16 who are at risk of engaging in criminal activity now and in the future, and, together with Buckley Hall, help them to recognise the potential consequences to themselves and others and develop positive behaviours to improve their future outcomes.

The project is not confrontational nor intended to be a ‘scare tactic’, but its objectives are to raise awareness to the youths of the possible consequences of offending behaviour, the reality of imprisonment, and provide them with opportunities to explore their own strengths and interests to offer engagement in constructive and beneficial activities and make informed choices towards their future.

Too many young people are growing up without a positive role model in their lives and this is where we believe we can make the most impact to encourage change by helping them engage in new activities and relationships.
