The Community Engagement Team (CET) consists of a number of unique health and wellbeing services that are working proactively, across the Borough of Rochdale, towards facilitating effective and beneficial pathways for individuals with an experience of mental health, supporting them on their journey to health and wellbeing, tackling stigma and discrimination, and reducing the barriers to getting the right help at the right time.
The team supports Eastern European, South Asian, African and Caribbean communities, refugees and asylum seekers living in the borough of Rochdale.
The Shifa Dementia Family Link Project supports individuals with memory changes, or a diagnosis of dementia, their families and carers.
Qur'an and Emotional Health raises awareness, and enables better engagement with Musilin communities, in order to meet their emotional and mental health needs.
