Rochdale Parent Carers Voice

We are a group of volunteer parents and carers of children and young people (birth -25 years) with disabilities and additional needs. We believe parents’ and carers’ views are vital when bringing about changes which will enable all children and young people with disabilities to lead full and enriched lives. We are passionate about children and young people having more choice and control over their own lives.

We engage with children and young people with disabilities/additional needs and their families; working with them to develop ideas for improvements to current services and support. We meet regularly, share information and provide training for families and professionals. We attend strategic meetings to ensure the voices of young people and their parents are heard.
